But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you WILL BE SAVED.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
I would like to take this opportunity to say now that if you do not really "KNOW" the Savior with all your heart, mind, body and soul, and you wish Him to come into your heart and help you change, please just say this simple prayer.
Our Heavenly Father,
I come before you with my sins. I am a sinner and I want to be free and clean.
Please come into my heart and save me and accept me as one of Your children.
I do not want to go to hell. I want to spend eternity with You and Your children.
Please Father, I believe that Jesus is Your son, born of a virgin, and that He died
on the cross for all sins, including mine. I believe in the Trinity and I know You
love me. Please, I know You may not give me another chance, so let me accept You now.

two things. One, is be baptised through the immersion of water, like Jesus
was, and the other is to confess with the mouth to others that you are now
a Christian.
