Reach Out and Touch Someone

Dear Friends,

We need to have mercy and compassion upon those who are less fortunate than we are and love them with the love of the Lord. We should never be so high-minded that we forget the blessings that God has given us and we are to see that there are others around us who need our help.

The blessings that we have received are not only for our benefit and betterment, but should be used for the betterment of others as well. Just as the Lord is gracious and merciful upon His creation, so must we be as His disciples on the earth.

The Bible says in Psalm 103:8 “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.” If we say we are followers of Christ, then our works must reflect what our faith commands. We are to always remember the blessings that are in our life and be helping towards those who are in need of it.

We are all connected and come from One Creator called to love one another and treat all people the way we would want to be treated. I pray that you will be encouraged to look past the superficial and see others not for who they were, but for who they can become with both yours and God's help. You will be changing this world one soul at a time.

As An Encouraging Word For Today

Philippians 2:3-7 tells us:
“Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in
lowliness of mind let each esteem each other better than
themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but
every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be
in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the
form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him
the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.”
