As I set upon the bank and cast out my line,
My mind begins to wonder a ways back in time.
I think about the greatest Fisherman there has been.
I think about Jesus Christ who is the Fisher of Men!
I haven't caught any fish so far here today.
I know there all around me, I see them come my way.
But you know this is kinda like it should be,
Cause I must cast myself out for the whole world to see!
I must let them see what God has done for me.
I must let them see what kind of a life Jesus gives me.
I must go out and tell the world God loves them
And Jesus died so they could be free from their sin.
As Jesus is the Fisher of Men so must I also be.
I must be free from sin so they want that prayer of me!
Now as I cast out my line, I do it with greater love
Because I know Who's behind me and I know Who's above!!!
All God's children must be Fishers of Men for that is what God wants us to do.
I pray that you will do this for God and Jesus.
