John 14
1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Here Jesus tells us, as equal heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven, that if we will just invite Him in, He will come in and dine with us. What happens when we dine with someone? We get to know them and their habits and their character. He is the one that comes looking for us, for it is we that are lost, not He. He knocks and knocks at all various stages of our lifes asking to let Him in. He says that if we do let Him in and get to know Him, not just about Him or know of Him, but KNOW Him, then He will strengthen us so we can endure the things of the world and sit on the throne with Him in Heaven along with His Father, the Almighty God.

He also tells us in John that if we believe in God we should also believe in Him. For when He was crucified, He arose and went to Heaven to prepare a place for us. No more slums, no more alleys to live in, no more cold or hungry nights. He says He will come again and gather us unto Him so that we may go where He is..in Heaven. When Thomas, the doubter, questioned Him, saying that the disciples did not know where to go and what was the way, Jesus said to him that no one would go unto God the Father unless they went by Him, for He was the way, the truth, and the life.

Have you invited Jesus into your heart? Do you want to reign with Him eternally in your mansion? Would you like to sit on the throne with Him and The Father? It is easy to do...believe on Him. Invite Him into your heart and ask Him to stay and show you to the way. He will. That is all it takes. You can say this simple prayer and be on your way to pick up the deed to your mansion.

Dear Lord Jesus,
I heard you knock. I am inviting you in. Come and dine with me and stay with me. I know you were born of a virgin birth, conceived by the Spirit of God. I know you died on the cross for me, a sinner. I confess my sins now and ask you to forgive me. Please accept me and wash me of my sins and set me free. I thank you for loving me and showing me the way to Heaven. I love you, Jesus. Amen!!

Now be sure and tell everyone you know (or at least one--to fulfill the commission set by Jesus that you confess to others that you have been saved). You will see your life change from the shabbles of earth to the beauty of Heaven as you see here in the doors...from the one before He enters to the one after He enters. Won't you please ask Him in today?
