Do You Have The Mentality of Christ?

Dear Friends,
With these days that we are living in that are full of discouragement and pessimism, we need to stand out and be encouragers just as God had in mind for each believer. We have good news to give the world and a light that needs to shine like never before. With everything around us trying to bring us down and make us want to quit, I feel the need to encourage you to take on the mentality of Christ and be uplifters and encouragers to all you come into contact with. You have the ability within yourself to lift up someone who is down and help them reach the potential they are too discouraged to see right now. These words are focused on encouraging one another and I hope you take them to heart and try your hardest to be uplifting even when you do not feel like it.

I hope you are challenged and inspired by these words to be uplifting and motivating towards those around you who feel like they should just give up. You will be shining a great light through your life and the love of God is sure to be seen through your encouragement towards that person that needs a spiritual lift.
I truly believe every person has the ability to be an encourager. Saying a kind word or encouraging someone not to quit may be enough to encourage that person to know who they are in Christ and their dreams come to pass. It is easy to give up when all the doors around us seem to be closed, but an encouraging word that we can offer not to give up, can be motivation enough for that person to continue on and know that their persistence in seeing their vision come alive will be rewarded with great success.

I encourage you to try to be a motivation and an encouragement to someone close to you who is not receiving the support they need. If every person took an interest in someone else who was in need of an encouraging boost to continue on and not give up on their dreams, this world would have an explosion of inspirational testimonies on the power of not giving up. It is not too late for us to take on this goal of motivating those who are feeling down and discouraged. You just may be the catalyst to which a great event takes place; all because of your interest in a person was not receiving the motivation they needed.
From a Friend

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says,
"Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails…"

In Matthew 5:43-46 Jesus tells us
"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?"

If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 - 10)

If you have not done so, just pray this prayer:

"Dear God,
I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is your son and that He died on the cross for my sins. Jesus, forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and become my personal Lord and Savior.
In Jesus's name, Amen."
